What began in a home kitchen during the 2020 lockdown has since grown into The Lil Whisk — a cake atelier and gifting studio built on creativity, craftsmanship, and a love for meaningful celebrations.

Founded by a mother-daughter trio, The Lil Whisk started with a simple idea: celebrations deserve something more personal, more thoughtful, and a little more magical. What began as baking for family and friends soon turned into creating bespoke cakes and gifting experiences for life’s most cherished moments.

Today, from Mumbai to Delhi, we continue to bring that same passion to everything we create.

At Lil Whisk, we don’t simply make cakes—we design them. Inspired by art, fashion, travel, colour, and storytelling, each creation is thoughtfully crafted to become the centerpiece of a celebration. From whimsical birthday cakes and elegant wedding desserts to curated gifting collections, every detail is considered with intention.

But beautiful is only half the story.

We believe that cakes that look good should taste even better. That’s why every creation is handcrafted from scratch using thoughtfully chosen ingredients, balancing artistry with flavour in every bite.

Find answers to common questions about our products and services.

  • For delicate cakes and tiered creations,
    we strongly recommend self pick up or car delivery via Uber/Ola cab rather than bike delivery.

    We prepare our cakes with the freshest ingredients, with no preservatives. While they are packaged securely, sudden braking, bumps, turns, and road conditions can affect decorated cakes during transit.

    Car deliveries provide the safest and most stable journey for your order.

    We are unable to take responsibility for any damage that may occur after the order leaves our kitchen.

  • We'd love to make ordering from us as easy as possible. While we don't offer cash on delivery, we do accept pre-orders for our cakes with full advance payment. The good news? Our website works with all the major payment gateways and cards, so you have plenty of convenient options to choose from.

  • Each of our custom orders are handmade, meaning no two items will ever be exactly the same. Our web store shows all of the customisations we offer in terms of flavours, colours, and piping styles. Please note, as all of our cakes are made with buttercream, we are not always able to reproduce the exact shade/colour of a previous cake. These are handmade products made to order and slight variations will always occur.

  • We understand plans change and are willing to accommodate changes to your order. However please note that we cannot offer refunds for any cancellations. Only if we are informed 72 hours prior to order completion date, we can offer store credit or reschedule your order for a future date within 6 months.

  • All items are crafted with love and care by our dedicated team, made fresh just for you. We stand behind our creations—if something arrives damaged or isn't quite right, we'll make it right with a replacement if informed in time. We simply can't offer refunds for products made to your specifications, but we're here to help if anything goes wrong on our end.

    Our delicate creations are perishable treasures that need to stay cool during their journey to you. For the best experience and to ensure your order arrives in perfect condition, we'd love to have you pick up directly from our kitchen. If delivery works better for you, we're happy to arrange it—just know that while we take every care in transit, the delicate nature of our products means we can't be responsible for any damage that occurs along the way.
